Brigham Young University. Special Services

Special Services was a standing committee that was made up of other standing committee's directors for the purpose of improving student life. In 1945, President Howard S. McDonald appointed Dr. Wesley P. Lloyd as Dean of Students and Director of Special Services. In 1955, the name of the organization was changed to Student Personnel Services with many of the same functions, although Auxiliary Services took on some of the responsibilities formerly of Special Services. Wesley P. Lloyd acted as the only director of Special Services.
