The Placement and Employment Services was a title superior unit to connect together the Placement Center and the Employment Office of BYU. The director of Placement and Employment Services was R. Wayne Hansen (1985-1997), who was also the director of the Placement Center still.

Functions

The Placement and Employment Services helped students find career employment for post graduation. In addition the service has on campus counseling as well as job interview opportunities off campus.

Placement and Employment Services was run by a director. It functioned under the direction of the Director of University Personnel Services until it became Human Resource Services in 1990, which was run by an Assistant Administrative Vice President of the University.
