Brigham Young University. Dept. of Psychology

The Dept. of Psychology was a part of the Church Teachers College until the college was split in 1920. The department was placed under the direction of the School of Arts and Sciences. It has continued to exist since that time, being administered by a number of colleges through its history. For a time it was also closely associated with the College of Education, granting degrees in psychology through that college between 1922 and 1946. Chairs of the department have included Dean R.
