Benefits and Employee Relations/Equal Employment Office became Benefits and Compensation Services in 2001 to oversee the Benefits and Compensation policies for University Employees. It also oversaw Retirement Services for a time. Managing Directors included Forrest Flake (2001-2005) and Peg Schmidt (2006-2007). In 2007, it became Compensation Services and the Benefits office absorbed into the Employee Relations/Equal Employment Office for a year.
