Retirement Services was organized in 1993 in Human Resource Services. It always worked closely with the Benefits Office to be in charge of Retirement of employees. Managers included: Douglas J. Lee (1993-1999), Paul Conrad (1999-2000), Douglas J. Lee (2001-2008), and Peg Schmidt (2008- ).

Functions

Retirement Services works with the Benefits Office to oversee the Retirement plans, benefits, and savings of all employees at the University. They worked with the Retirement Committee.

Assets and Administrative Structure

Retirement Services was organized under the Managing Director of Benefits and Employee Relations/EEO in 1993 in Human Resource Services. In 2001, this was changed to Employee Relations/EEO, in 2006 to Benefits and Compensation Services, and then again to Employee Relations/EEO from 2007 to 2008. In 2008 it became part of the Benefits Services of Human Resource Services where it remains today. They continued functions of the Retirement Committee of the University. Retirement Services was run by a manager.
