Brigham Young University. Teacher Placement

Teacher Placement was maintained by the College of Education as a service to prospective teachers, experienced teachers, administrators, school districts, and institutions seeking to employ professional personnel. Teacher Placement worked with the College of Education from the 1930s until 1954, then the University Placement Bureau until 1961, and the Placement Center until 1963 to help students find positions for student teaching and teaching jobs. Students were required to register with Teacher Placement prior to student teaching. Directors included Edgar M. Jenson (1953-1956).
