The Center for Instructional Design was founded in 1999 in an effort to improve the quality of instruction on campus. In 2007 it was reorganized under the name of The Center for Teaching and Learning. Its directors included: Scott L. Howell (1999-2005) and Jonathan Mott (2005-2007).
