Center for Instructional Design

The Center for Instructional Design was founded in 1999 in an effort to improve the quality of instruction on campus. In 2007 it was reorganized under the name of The Center for Teaching and Learning. Its directors included: Scott L. Howell (1999-2005) and Jonathan Mott (2005-2007).

Functions

The Center for Instructional Design was established to help faculty create better curriculum to work for students both on and off-campus. In addition it was set up to help faculty utilize technology more effectively in their classrooms.
