The Brigham Young University Police Traffic Division is charged with the enforcement of campus parking and traffic regulations, along with the maintenance and collection of vehicle registration information. It was created from the Security/Police Traffic Division in 1982. It was succeeded by the Brigham Young University Police Traffic/Security Division in 1990. The administrator of the Traffic Division was BYU Police Chief Robert Kelshaw (1982-1990).
