In 1989 it was renamed International Student Support and moved to Multicultural Services. Office Directors included: Dwayne N. Andersen (1973-1976), Max W. Swenson (1976-1979), Enoc Q. Functions
The mission of the International Student Office was to foster an educational process and atmosphere which will aid the student in his or her personal growth and development, to assist in the identification, prevention and solution of problems which hinder this process, and to the student's advocate. The International Student Office specifically provided advisement and services to international students, visitors, exchange scholars, and aliens with permanent residence in the United States.
