The International Student Office was established in 1973 as a division of Student Life. In 1987 the International Student Office moved to Multicultural Programs within Student Life. In 1989 the International Student Office was renamed International Student Support and moved to Multicultural Services. Office Directors included: Dwayne N. Andersen (1973-1976), Max W. The International Student Office specifically provided advisement and services to international students, visitors, exchange scholars, and aliens with permanent residence in the United States.
