Broadcasting Services was set up to help facilitate the radio and television stations produced by BYU, KBYU-FM and KBYU-TV. Directors and General Managers of Broadcasting Services have included Earl J. Glade Jr. (1966-1972), Bruce Christensen (1972-1979), Joseph (Joe) White (1979-1984), Thomas A. Griffiths (1984-1996), John Reim (1996-2003).
