Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering and Technology

The Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering and Technology, previously the College of Engineering, was established in 2004 within Brigham Young University. Since 2004, the college has been administered by deans Douglas M. Chabries (2004-2005), Alan R. Parkinson (2005-2016), and Michael Allen Jensen (2016- ).

Functions

The Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering and Technology was established with the purpose to to train and prepare students as craftsman, technicians, technologists, and engineers to enable them to work together to solve problems and challenging needs in the world.
