David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies. International Internships (1993-1996)

In 1993 the International Program of the David M. Kennedy Center was abolished. The Study Abroad and Internship programs then became their own separate programs. The International Internships program was administered by the Kennedy Center until the International Field Studies and Internship program was created in 1996.

Functions

The internship program was responsible for assisting students in locating and tailoring an internship that fits their academic needs. Internships were offered in countries like Australia, Brazil, Japan, Mexico, West Germany, Taiwan, and Thailand. Fields of work included communications, family sciences, engineering, marketing, and international and area studies.
