In 1982 the College of Humanities sponsored the creation of the Center for the Study of Christian Values in Literature. Program directors included: Jay Fox (1982-1995), Richard H. Cracroft (1995-2000), and Jesse S. Crisler (2001-).

Functions

The Center for the Study of Christian Values in Literature published the journal Literature and Belief. The center also holds symposiums and facilitates various writing contests.
