Brigham Young University. University Safety Committee
The University Safety Committee worked to maintain campus security. In 1968, this committee merged with the Traffic Committee in order to form the University Traffic and Safety Committee. The chairman of the University Safety Committee was Sam Brewster (1963-1968). In 1973 Wallace Hansen was appointed chairman.

Though not explicitly, it is assumed that the function for the University Safety Committee overlapped with the function of the later unit, the University Traffic and Safety Committee.
