Brigham Young University. Social Affairs Committee

In 1915 the Socials Committee was renamed the Social Affairs Committee. E. L. Roberts (1915-1928) continued to serve as this committee's chairman. He was followed by Elmer Miller (1928-1929, 1930-1942), C. S. Boyle (1929-1930), T. L. Broadbent (1942-1944), and Wesley P. Lloyd (1944-1946).

Functions

The function of the Social Affairs Committee was to plan and authorize social events on campus. They likewise worked with the Social Units Committee to set rules and regulations and granted permission for activities held by the social units program.

This committee was headed by a chairman. After 1944, the Dean of Men served as the chairman.
