The Public Relations Coordinating Council was created around 1968. Known chairmen included Stephen R. Covey (circa 1968), J. Elliot Cameron (circa 1969) and Heber G. Wolsey (circa 1972).

Functions

The function of the Public Relations Coordinating Committee was to coordinate the various activities of campus organizations so that the finest image is projected to the public in any medium of activity. In later years they were to confer with the Director of University Relations in identifying and resolving public relations problems and coordinating all public relations activities.

Assets and Administrative Structure

The members of this committee were appointed and responsible to the University President. In the 1970s the committee worked with the Director of University Relations.
