Brigham Young University. Office of Research and Creative Work

The Office of Research and Creative Work was established in 1990 under the direction of John D. Lamb. In 1992, direction passed to Gary Hooper. This office was established in place of the Research Division. It was abolished in 1994, and the functions were assumed by the Office of Research and Creative Activities.

This office was established to preside over the distribution of research grants for graduate and undergraduate students. It also tracked the developments of the students, as well as the effectiveness of the funds given.
