Brigham Young University. Dept. of Accounting and Business Administration

In 1921, Brigham Young University created the College of Commerce and Business Administration with Accounting and Business Administration serving as a department within the college. It was previously called the Dept. of Business Education within the School of Arts and Sciences. The Department of Accounting and Business Administration was one of five departments created within it. Department chairmen included Harrison Val Hoyt (1930), Herald R. Clark (1931-1935) and Harrison Val Hoyt (1936-1951).
