The Department of Organizational Leadership and Strategy was established by the Marriott School of Management in 1997. Department chairmen included: W. Gibb Dyer, Jr. (1997-2001), Michael Thompson (2001-2006), William Gerard Sanders (2006-2008), and Jeffrey H. Dyer (2008-2017).
