KBRG
The KBRG was BYU's first FM station. The FCC approved BYU to start broadcasting under KBRG on 9 May 1960 as the letters KBYU were assigned to a Liberty Ship from World War II. In 9 November 1960 BYU began to broadcast as KBYU-FM. Gene Henderson (1960-1966) served as the only director of KBRG.
