Functions
The purpose of University Records was to collect, review, archive, or destroy records from all departments of Brigham Young University. Relevant records such as financial records, meeting minutes, and photo negatives were collected and either archived or destroyed.

University Records was directed by the University Archivist, who reported to the University Librarian.
University Records was located on the first floor of the J. Reuben Clark Jr. Library.
