The Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering and Technology, previously the College of Engineering, was established in 2004 within Brigham Young University. Since 2004, the college has been administered by deans Douglas M. Chabries and Alan R. Parkinson.

Functions
The Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering and Technology was established with the purpose to to train and prepare students as craftsman, technicians, technologists, and engineers to enable them to work together to solve problems and challenging needs in the world.

The Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering and Technology has been the administering body for the following departments and school: Chemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and School of Technology. The college is administered by a dean under the direction of the president of the university.
