The Information Technology division was created after a restructuring of the Library Information Systems Dept. in September, 2007. Bill Lund has served as AUL since its inception.

Functions

The division includes three departments: 1) digital initiatives, 2) web programming/design, and 3) library information systems. Worked to implement Primo. continue to implement new tools, methods, and practices that promote fast and easy information retrieval. The digital library consists of storage, processors, software, and LIS staff to support it. Digital library issues related to selection of collections, metadata, and organization are handled by other units within the library. Programming and Design, Primo and Ex Libris (unit), Office of Digital Content Management under LIT.
