This department came from the demotion of the Learning Centers Division in 1986. It was assigned to the General Services Division. There appeared to be only one change in the department from that time until the end of the records I had in 2001: in 1991 the General Services Division was disbanded and the Learning Centers Department was moved into the Collection Development Division. I couldn't find any other information about other than that it coordinated services of the Nursing, Education, and Crabtree LRCs at least. However, the Crabtree and McKay LRCs were disbanded in the late 1990s.

According to the library wiki, the LRC is listed as an area in the Access Services Department in the Public Services Division (2009). Now the only trick is figuring how things changed since 2001 (but then I only assume nothing else happened in the 1990s because I didn't see anything else).
