Functions
This program is offered as a minor only for undergraduates and offered a MA for graduate students. The program was designed as preparation to teach English to children and youth of other languages which involves multidisciplinary course work in a number of areas, including language acquisition; teaching methods and materials; educational programs; and family, school, and community partnerships. The TESOL K–12 minor focuses on teaching students of limited English proficiency who are in the public schools of the United States.
