David O. McKay School of Education. Career Placement Office-Education
The Career Placement Office—Education (CPOE) helps students find positions in education. The CPOE has information about and applications for many public school positions in Utah and out of state. Students register with the CPOE by completing a placement file during the last semester of their programs. Interviews with recruiters are scheduled regularly, and job listings are posted by the CPOE and on the Web site. Supervisors were: Ann Halladay (2001-2003), Lisa Gregory (2003-2007), and Lisa Christensen (2007-2010).

Functions
The Career Placement Office in the McKay School of Education aids students in the procurement of teaching jobs after graduation beginning with student teaching or internship placements for all teaching majors. The McKay School of Education Advisement Center is in charge of all things related to certification of students for teacher placement.

The Career Placement Office was administered by a Supervisor and reported to the McKay School of Education. Career Placement became University Career Services in 2010 and functioned within the McKay School and the Counseling and Career Center.
