Functions

The program is intended both to provide a liberal arts education and to prepare students for careers in business, law, government, scholarship, and the Church Seminaries and Institutes of Religion system. Program curriculum included course work from the area of the social sciences, humanities, and religion. The geographic area covered extends from Egypt to Iran, and from Turkistan to Arabia.

The program was administered by the program coordinator, under the direction of the Kennedy Center director.
