Functions
The International Studies Program was a multidisciplinary program designed to familiarize students with politics, economics, history, and geography, as well as to develop cultural sensitivity. Students were required to integrate information about international issues from diverse academic disciplines such as anthropology, sociology, business, languages, and are studies. Students enrolled in the major were required to complete an area studies minor.

The International Studies Program was administered under the direction of the David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies director.
