Functions

The Asian Studies program was designed to provide a broad knowledge of Asian civilization as well as provide specialized knowledge in an academic disciplines. Areas of study included: Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or another approved Asian Language. The major was geared towards students contemplating careers in academic areas, private industry, or government service.

The program was administered by the program coordinator, under the direction of the Kennedy Center director.
