The American Studies Program was transferred to the newly established David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies in 1983. Program coordinators included: Neil L. York (1983-1986), Arthur R. Bassett (1986-1990), Richard H. Cracroft (1990-1995), Neil L. York (1995-1999), Gregory Clark (1999-2002).
