Church Teachers College. Dept. of Mechanics
In 1919, the Church Teachers College separated out several areas of coursework from the Department of Correlated Arts and created the Departments of Mechanics. When the Church Teachers College split a year later, the Department of Mechanics retained its name and function under the newly organized School of Arts and Sciences.
