Brigham Young University. Women's Services and Resources

The Women's Services and Resources center was created in 1992 under the direction of the Women's Research Insitute. WRI's purpose is to provide services and information on women's issues to all students, faculty, and staff. Directors have included Jean (Taylor) Scott (1993-1998), and LaNae Valentine (1999- ), and Dixie Sevison (2017-).

Functions

The functions of the Women's Services and Resources is to provide services for all BYU students and faculty. Services include seminars, conferences, mentoring, short-term counseling, support groups, volunteer opportunities, and lectures.
