Functions

The Traffic Committee studied ways of improving parking and the management of vehicular traffic on campus and initiated recommendations on policy related to campus parking and traffic. It was also commissioned to hear and rule on traffic citations when appealed by members of the faculty, administration, and full-time staff to make recommendations on policy questions concerning all phases of campus safety. Another goal of the committee was to maintain the security of the BYU campus in case of disturbances from groups outside and to determine regulations and policies which will govern traffic and parking.
