Brigham Young University. Traffic Appeals Committee

In 1956 the Appeals Committee was renamed the Traffic Appeals Committee. Lawson D. Hamblin continued to serve as chairman. He was followed by John W. Payne (circa 1963) and Evan Peterson (circa 1969). By 1972 this committee had been again renamed and became the Traffic Citation Appeals Committee. During its existence the Traffic Appeals Committee drifted in and out of activity.

Functions

The Traffic Appeals Committee was created to hear all appeals of all who have violated University Traffic regulations. By 1969 the committee met once a month to listen, review, and make decisions regarding appeals of faculty members when they receive citations, parking or otherwise.
