From 1957 until 1999, health services were available to students at the Howard S. McDonald Student Health Center. Beginning in 1999, a new Student Health Center was made available to students. The following individuals have served as directors, both administrative and medical, beginning in 1999: Val H. Christensen (Administrative, 1999-2000), James P. Clarke (Medical, 1999-2001), Rulon J. Barlow (Administrative, 2000- ), Robert P. Romney (Medical, 2001-2006), Lloyd E. Hoffman (Medical, 2006-2007) and Keith D. Willmore (Medical, 2007- ).

Functions
The Student Health Center today provides health services for all students, spouses, and dependents of students. Services available at the health center include consultations with a physician or nurse practitioner, immunizations, pharmacy, physical therapy, laboratory services, X-ray services, pediatrics, urgent care, and consultations with specialists.
