The Student Aid and Employment Committee was created to help furnish students at BYU with employment. Its chairmen included O. W. Jarvis (1904-1905), E. D. Partridge (1905-1906, 1920-1924), E. S. Hinckley (1906-1910), Earl J. Glade (1910-1911), E. H. Smart (1911-1919), J. B. Keeler (1919-1920), H. V. Hoyt (1924-1928, 1929-1932), W. H. Boyle (1928-1929), Knight Allen (1932-1933), A. Rex Johnson (1933-1938), and Wesley P. Lloyd (1938-1946).

Functions

The functions of the Student Aid and Employment Committee was to help furnish employment for students at BYU. They likewise established minimum standards for the types of employment students could be engaged in.

This committee was headed by a chairman. Following 1937 the Dean of Men served as the chairman of this committee.
