The function of the Space Management Dept. is to effectively manage the university's space resources for campus functions and church use, by identifying and allocating space to campus and church units for a specific function or purpose; assisting in planning for the future facility needs of the university and BYU stakes and wards; insuring optimum use of the university's space resources; and acting as a facilitator in the use and occupancy of space. Space Management coordinates building use for both academic and church purposes.
