In 2009 the name of Administrative Solutions was changed to Solutions and Compliance. A few other functions and responsibilities were added at the time of its move. Solutions and Compliance became in charge of Learning Module Solutions (LMS) which are 50-minute segments containing skills information and requirements for safety, risk management, and compliance with university policies. This modular training was purposed to be available 24/7 for jobs such as snow removal, lawn care, pruning trees, and shopping for equipment. The department is in charge of tracking license expiration dates for employees and maintaining them through training and refresher courses. Solutions and Compliance also coordinates the student FM (BYU Radio), student interns at Physical Facilities, and a HAZCOM program which provides employees with MSDS sheets of information about chemicals they may work with.
