The School of Technology was created in 1999. The Director was: Thomas L. Erekson (1999-2004). In 2004 the College of Engineering and Technology was renamed the Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering and Technology and the School of Technology was placed within that college.

To provide undergraduate programs and degrees in the areas of Construction Management (BS), Electronics Engineering Technology (BS), Facilities Management (BS), Industrial Design (BFA), Manufacturing Engineering Technology (BS), Technology Teacher Education (BS), and minors in the areas of Electronics Engineering Technology and Manufacturing. Graduate degrees are offered in Engineering Technology (MS) and Technology Education (MS).
