The School of Arts and Sciences was the administrative body for the following departments: Agriculture, Art, Biology, Business Education, Chemistry, Economics and Sociology, English, Foreign Language, Geology and Geography, History and Political Science, Home Economics, Mathematics and Physics, Mechanics, Music, Physical Education, Public Speaking, Psychology, and Theology and Religion.

Assets and Administrative Structure

The School of Arts and Sciences served as the branch of Brigham Young University that was responsible for administrating Art and Science courses to the students of the University. The school was administrated by a dean under the direction of the University President.
