The Public Relations Division was in charge of coordinating with affairs outside of the university as well as helping to organize campus activities and programs. In 1964 Public Relations Division was renamed University Relations Division. Presidents included Dean A. Peterson (1955-1957), and Lester B. Whetten (1957-1964)
