In 2003 the College of Biology and Agriculture created the Preveterinary Medicine program which facilitated the colleges preveterinary emphasis. Beverly L. Roeder served as program adviser from 2003 to the present.

Functions

The Preveterinary Medicine program provided advisers to help students interested in veterinary medicine by incorporating preveterinary curriculum into an academic program of their choosing. This was generally done through the biology major. A list of courses that would satisfy preveterinary requirements would be provided to the students along with academic counseling.

The program was administered by the Preveterinary Medicine adviser, under the direction of the college dean.
