The Pre-Professional Committee was originally established as an overarching title that incorporated three subcommittees. The Pre-Professional committee was appointed by the President and responsible to the Academic Vice-President. This committee was established with three subcommittees under it: pre-medical, pre-dental, and pre-law. Each subcommittee had its own function and adviser, but each subcommittee was under the supervision of a common chairman.
