The Pre-Med, Pre-Dental and Pre-Vet Committee was designed to advise students on how to prepare for and exceed in those careers.  In 1963, the Pre-Vet subcommittee broke away from the committee and a pre-law subcommittee was added.  Chairmen of this committee include C. Lynn Hayward (1954-1955), A. Lester Allen (1956-1963).  This committee was renamed the Pre-Professional Committee in 1963.

==Functions==

The Pre-Med, Pre-Dental, and Pre-Vet Committee served as and advisory committee for all students going into the medical, dental, and veterinarian fields. This committee also wrote recommendation letters for these students.

This committee had a chairman who oversaw all functions that this committee encompassed.  There were also subcommittees for each profession with an adviser to oversee each subcommittee.
