Brigham Young University. Placement Bureau
The Placement Bureau was established in -- as a student service. It existed for the purpose of assisting graduating students and alumni find jobs (specifically in business, industry, government, and education). Placement Bureau had an established library for magazines and brochures about companies, jobs, interviews, letters of application, how to find employment, resumes, etc. Placement Bureau worked closely with all the deans and department chairmen. Students were encouraged to register with the Placement Bureau at the beginning of the school year in which they would graduate. Placement Bureau also assisted students to find part-time employment on and off campus.
