The Photo Studio began originally in the 1930's in order to facilitate student and faculty photos for use in the Banyan. It was officially incorporated into the organization of the University in 1954. Joseph Boel was the director from its inception until 1956. Other directors included: Clark Nelson (1957-1958), Don Pugmire (1958-1964), Jerry Rogers (1964-1968), and James Walker (1968-1972). The Photo Studio began originally in the 1930's in order to facilitate student and faculty photos for use in the Banyan. It was officially incorporated into the organization of the University in 1954. Joseph Boel was the director from its inception until 1956.
