Brigham Young University. Normal School. Dept. of Natural Science

In 1905, Brigham Young University's Normal Information Courses department split into several new departments, including the Department of Natural Science. In 1906, the general education departments, including the Department of Natural Science, were absorbed by the High School. Normal Students would then take their general education classes from the High School or from the College, while still receiving teacher training coursework from the Normal School.

The Department of Natural Science was responsible for the teaching of courses in Physiography, Zoology, Botany, Physiology, and Geology.
