The Museum of Paleontology was renamed in 2009, formally known as the Earth Sciences Museum. The Museum of Paleontology houses all dinosaur and other fossils. Visitors can view the ongoing preparation of BYU’s large collection of dinosaurs and other fossils. Directors and main curators include Rod Scheetz (2009- ).

The museum exhibited several full and partial dinosaur skeletons as well as other fossils. Through a variety of unique displays, it teaches much about past life on earth. It is also were skeletons and other fossils are worked on before being displayed.
